Rated T+

In Shops: Oct 18, 2017
SRP: $3.99

It came with this cover.

But Marvel has released the cover for Guardians Of The Galaxy #146, which will follow it in Marvel Legacy in October. And it may have given the game away.

Because this was the cover seen on Bleeding Cool earlier today…

Well, everyone is wearing Nova Corps costumes. But that does rather look like Ant Man, at the front there, drawn by Aaron Kuder. Or, at least, one of them. They are smaller than Baby Groot and have antennae on their helmet.

So which Ant Man? Hank Pym is all Ultron-ed up at the moment. Scott Lang is fighting alongside the heroes in Secret Empire. And Black Ant is on the side of Hydra. Say, could he do with redeeming as well as Captain America?

Anya Taylor-Joy And Director Robert Eggers Sign On For ‘Nosferatu’ Remake

Anya Taylor-Joy And Director Robert Eggers Sign On For ‘Nosferatu’ Remake

After they both scared the pants off of us in The Witch back in 2015, Anya Taylor-Joy is looking to team up with Robert Eggers again for the remake of Nosferatu, according to Variety.

Eggers is writing and directing the movie based on the 1922 silent film that followed the vampire Count Orlock. He wants to buy a house in Germany, but becomes enamored of the real-estate agent’s wife. It was an unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker‘s Dracula, and Werner Herzog directed a 1979 remake.

Eggers has already signed a deal with Studio 9 and is attached to direct The Knight for the studio. He’s wanted to re-team with Taylor-Joy since The Witch, but after Split and how well The Witch ended up doing, her scheduled filled up quickly, according to the report. She is currently filming the X-Men movie New Mutants and is signed on to re-appear in the Split/Unbreakable sequel Glass.

Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus will produce the movie for Studio 8.

The Final Dev Diary For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Is Here

The Final Dev Diary For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Is Here

Hellblade
credit//Ninja Theory

The final dev diary from Ninja Theory before the launch of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is here. Today’s video includes testimony from Production Development Ninja Dominic Matthews and Chief Creative Ninja Tameem Antoniades along with the rest of the dev team about the difficulties they faced while trying to make sure that Senua’s Sacrifice was completed with the proper amount of perfection while trying to work without a major publisher as a backer on the project. Which led to some rather interesting solutions for the difficulties of trying to make a AAA game without a AAA budget.

Dev Diaries are always interesting videos, as they give you a look behind the veil at the intricacies of game development, which aren’t often spoken of otherwise. And this look at Ninja Theory’s last few months of work on Hellblade is more interesting than most. This isn’t about story, content, light and fog processes, or any other technical achievements. This is a story of struggle, of a team’s devotion to their finished product, and really lets you see just what its like to be a game dev.

The 29th dev diary for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is below. The game releases tomorrow for PS4 and Windows 10.

The Final Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Development Diary before release. See how the team made one last push to get the game ready for launch!

Restaurant Jimmy’s Seafood Sides With Hardys, Disses GFW Over Broken Trademark

Restaurant Jimmy’s Seafood Sides With Hardys, Disses GFW Over Broken Trademark

In the ongoing legal battle over the rights to the Broken Matt Hardy pro wrestling gimmick, Baltimore Seafood restaurant Jimmy’s Famous Seafood has weighed in, firmly on Team Hardy.

Hardy legal counsel and wife of Matt Hardy, Reby Hardy, revealed a private Twitter conversation between the restaurant and the official Impact Wrestling account in which Jimmy’s Seafood totally shuts down Impact’s attempts to set up a business partnership unless GFW releases the rights to the gimmick, which they have prevented the Hardys from using since the left the company for WWE.

And in case there was any doubt that the conversation was faked, Jimmy’s Seafood confirmed:

For their loyalty, Matt Hardy had a reward, putting the restaurant championship on Jimmy’s Seafood:

Of course, none of this brings us any closer to a resolution over the rights, but the ongoing legal feud is probably more interesting than any wrestling angle anyway.

‘The Nightmare Before Christmas: As Told By Emoji’, Now A Comic For The Holidays

‘The Nightmare Before Christmas: As Told By Emoji’, Now A Comic For The Holidays

Last year, Disney put out The Nightmare Before Christmas: As Told by Emoji on YouTube as part of their As Told By Emoji series. The reaction was a lot more positive than a certain other, more recent Emoji Movie got. Well, for Christmas this year, Joe Books is adapting the short into a comic book of its very own. A perfect stocking stuffer. But sadly, not out in time to be a pumpkin stuffer…

The book’s description:

“From the creative team of DJ Milky and Studio DICE, the book will be released as full-color floppies, then collected into graphic novels, and then finally collected in manga-sized editions.”

This comes on the tail of TokyoPOP announcing they are to publish a Nightmare sequel in comic book form.

Here’s the original. Okay, not original, but…you know what I mean.

Simon Furman Announced To Write Robotech For Titan Comics

Simon Furman Announced To Write Robotech For Titan Comics

It was announced just now at the London Film and Comic Con, which I have somehow found myself attending as a guest. In a panel featuring Harmony Gold’s president of animation Tommy Yune and Titan Comics editor Chris Thompson, they were joined by famed Transformers writer and Death’s Head co-creator Simon Furman. And, as well as showing off all the Robotech merchandise from hoodies to board games, they all let us know that Furman will be joining the writing team for the Robotech comic book for Titan Comics, alongside the existing series writer Brian Wood.

Big giant fighting robots? Simon Furman has that down pat.
